Ever since the Planer series, I long for a new game where I run my own freight business without having to build roads and railways. Not that those aren’t fun, but sometimes I want something different.
Today Softwaves Games released their game Freight Simulator. A game that leans very heavily towards the early iterations of the Planer games.
Where that series has moved on from running a transportation business to agriculture and industry, Freight Simulator has its focus on buying trucks and trailers, hiring drivers and sending them out to fulfill contracts.
Managing the life of your CEO character is also part of the game. That part never really appeals to me in other games, but that is no reason not to look into this game. More on Freight Simulator soon.
