An update to a beloved game, at last a release date for Factorio and a new release on Android. Excellent day for tycoon fans.
The first big expansion of Parkitect is out. In Taste of Adventure ($ 11.99), you get a new campaign, consisting of 10 scenarios, two themes, and several new rides. My favorite among the latter is the Rapid River.
Simultaneously a free update (v1.5 is released, adding new marketing options, some tools for editing scenarios and several updates for existing features like fountains and underwater tunnels.
Factorio will be released on 25th of September 2020
The developers of Factorio have always approached development in the “It is done when it is done” sense. However, they seem to be feeling that the moment of “done” is approaching, and have released a statement that version 1.0 will be released on 25 September 2020. Thus ending a long Early Access run. But as they say in their post: Version 1.0 does not mean that development on the game will end, or that Factorio is 100% finished. When we have a better idea of what we will be working on after the 1.0 release, we will let you know.
Caravan Released for Android Devices
Developer Vico Pannacotta has released “Caravan – Trding Simulation Game” for Android Devices. Based on the Trailer and some other materials I have seen, it is a game that should be right up my alley. To test it, I will have to get my hands on an Android Device first, that might take a little while.
