After a few days of being under the weather, here I am again with the Tycoon news that came out over the weekend.
Devolver Digital and VileMonarch announced Weedcraft Inc today. The game lets you grow and sell marihuana, create new breeds and fight for its legality. I will look a bit deeper into the game later this week
Recently delayed Tech Company Tycoon TechCorp is looking for testers. The devs posted a call for testers in the Tycoon subreddit. Just join their Discord channel for more information. I reached out for a beta key and hope to be able to test the game soon.
The Airline Project Releases Alpha 3
Spreadsheetlike but interesting Airline Tycoon “The Airline Project” has released Alpha 3, I played it a bit and like the new seating configurator. The addition of hub airports adds a nice dose of realism. This is a very serious airline sim, don’t expect the shenanigans that made up a big part of Airline Tycoon I and II here. The game is available at itch.io and you can name your own price.
I remember being exited 10 years ago when Great Old Games popped up. Old DOS games made to work on a modern PC. Fantastic. And yes, you could get them to work, but it was great to pay a small sum and have the work done for you. GOG has grown a lot from those humble beginnings. Now the marketplace offers contemporary games as well. Go and check out the anniversary giveaway and the many sales they currently offer to celebrate their first decade.
